A.T.D is my motto, and should be every vintage girls. It stands for 'attention to detail.' All the best ladies have A.T.D, from Mae West to Dita and even my lady of the moment, Katy Perry.

Not only do I aspire to look like a pin up girl in the day, I want the nightwear to match.

I adore this ladies black emsemble, with the blue adornments.

A quick trip to the market to get myself some blue roses to attach to my black night gown makes for a bedtime outfit any pin up girl would be happy to wear!

I do hope you fillies made good use of the sunshine to display your fav summer garms. I'm slowly banishing all knitwear, scarves and trousers to the depths of the wardrobe where all my floral frocks have been hiding, for the past year. Although, next week all warm items may well be re-appearing. Who knows?!

Hairy thursday.

Needless to say, I am bumming the Great British Hairdresser competition on E4 at the moment. I'm inspired every Monday evening to get my Dolly heads out and practice, practice, practice.

However it is slightly ruined by that Abby Clancy. She just stands at the side and takes the mickey. If I'm not mistaken she is a glamour model, not a hair stylist?? Tart.

ANYways gals, I tried out one of James Browns tutorials. His 'Avant Garde Marylin Up Do'

I'm sorry sarong.

I love my sarongs. They make me feel every bit a bombshell, and make me wiggle my bum.

When I came across this photograph of me on my birthday wearing my beloved golden dragon sarong from VOH I instantly felt very naughty. Sitting on a dirty dancefloor is not a way a girl should treat her dresses.

 From this day on, I will treat my sarongs with every bit of respect they deserve. You have my word fellow bloggers!

One for cover.

Tonight my good friend is taking some shots me in the style of Miss Carmen Miranda for her to paint from (she is really good). She wants to focus on my hair, so I got up extra early to fix it up extra nice for her.

Silly old me did my hair, then realied I still needed a shower. Not to worry, I can use my trusty shower cap to sheild my hair from any unwanted damp atmosphere.

Russet and Peach...

...a delicious colour combination. Rita Hayworth inspired. I'm lacking her long locks, but I am slowly getting there!

As mentioned in a previous outfit post, Topshop can prove it's greatness in the top department. This rust chiffon number is the perfect friend for my pink pencil skirt and the peach of my merry widow corselette from What Katie Did can peek out through the ever so slightly transparent material.

Today I decided that I would take myself to get my not so glamorous nails pimped into talons Dita would be jealous of. Too cut a long story short, I walked outta that nail salon with nails Jordan would be proud of.

Can nail beauticians only file nails into a square shape???
