I love Sundays. They are for doing nothing except for being lazy, baking and listening to old records. My record player is a 1950s Dansette on legs, which Paul from the pub told me is not seen very often these days. I can remember when I bought it when living in Manchester. I'd spent my weekly allowence on it so had no money to take it back in a taxi. It took me nearly an hour to get it back, but looking at it now, it's so worth it.
My Dad has some great records stashed away in the loft, and today he got the rest of his collection down. I went straight for 'Buddy Holly, Lovesongs'.
I love the pattern on this dress. It looks great with brown accessories and I like to wear it with my black and white brogues topped off with white bobby socks. The perfect outfit for listening to Buddy Holly.

aw cool.. i also got my record player in Manchester but it's one that comes in a suitcase a little like a dansette so was somewhat more portable!
