Lunch tastes better on something pretty.

All this new crockery has given me a shove up the bum to try out some new recipes....

Baked Nectarines with Brioche.

Half your nectarines, sprinkle with Vanilla sugar and bake until soft.

Fry your brioche in a squidgen of butter until golden brown.

Mix crème fraiche and lemon curd and dollop a big bit over your peaches and serve on your prettiest plate!

Trying to keep Inka away from my fruits of labour. She nearly dribbled on my bare feet!!

It would be a waste...

to not show your waist!!

I think the waist is one of the sexiest parts of the female body. As well as being scientifically proven to trigger off the male hormonal system (fact!) it has played a key part in the history of Vintage fashions up until the late 1950s. The focus on the waist started to dwindle off resulting in us witnessing in the 'hipster' look. Now, I don't care how good your bod is, no lady looks fabulous in a pair of jeans down to your groin!!

The last three tops I have purchased are cropped, and I love 'em. They will only look good (and authentic) worn with high waisted garments, less is more.

But it fills me with joy to see certain ladies in the press tastefully baring their midriff, sporting the new craze- crop tops. It's all good, however as it is just a fashion moment I wonder how long it will last. 

But, as for now the waist is not going to waste. Hurrah!!

Fruit Porn 2.

Every now and again I love to check my stats to see when and where you gals are checking out my blog. My favourite section to browse at is the 'traffic sources' tab. It shows you what people have searched for when falling upon ones blog.

Infact I check this section daily, and every day there at the top of the google list, quite worryingly is 'fruit porn'. I posted way back when about a pair of fruit covered shoes I pined for, and it seems that blog post has been viewed by many a fruit porn fanatic from around the world Daily! Thankfully, it is not the most popular post I have done, it's reassuring to know that I'm recognised for things other than tantalising fruits.

So, for all you fruit maniacs out there in the google world, I have complied every fruit based I own into a personalised juicy, mouth watering blog post just for you!

Don't stop loving me now.

Well, I was pretty much shocked when I looked at the date of my last post. Why, it was more than two weeks ago! It seems I have neglected blogging for sometime, I guess it's easy to fall outta habit, but once you get back into it, you realise what fun you've been missin'!

I've just been upto the usual stuff that a vintage gal does. Y'know just like you. Restocking my stocking drawer (an expensive business), dancin' my toes off 'till the early hours, and listening to Jesse and the Orbits wishing I could strut about on stage like her. I have spent an awful time at my desk, sketchin' and colourin' too. My interest for drawing up pretty lady designs is a growin' and I just love it!

 It's clear that as well as spending most of my time with a pencil in hand, next to me has been my constant homepage; Ebay. Now, in previous posts, you would have heard me bitching about my complete lack of finds, and hours of unrequited trawling through tat, yet now I am surrounded by empty brown parcels, bubble wrap and handfuls of the best Vintage loot I have found in a long time. If I do say so myself! Believe me, I have enough new clobber to fill a years worth of outfit posts, so stay tuned, hang tight and welcome back to some regular blogging!
